Vil’na Gromada (Вільна громада), n° 1, novembre 1921. Vil’na Gromada (sous titré : organe des anarchistes communistes d’Ukraine) était une revue anarchiste ukrainienne publiée aux USA, de courte durée qui a publié cinq numéros entre la fin de 1921 et 1922. Parmi les articles, une traduction en Ukrainien d’un article intitulé « Anarchisme Communisme » par David Edelstadt. Edelstadt était un anarchiste et poète judéo-russe. Il a immigré en Amérique en 1882 et a été membre du premier groupe anarchiste juif à New York, les Pionniers de la Liberté. Il a écrit abondamment en yiddish et est devenu rédacteur en chef de l’influent journal en langue yiddish Fraye Arbeter Shtime (Voix du travailleur libre). Edelstadt est mort de la tuberculose à l’âge très jeune de 26 ans en 1892.

Vil’na Hromada, no. 1, November 1921. Vil’na hromada (sub titled : organ of the Ukrainians anarcho-communists) was a short lived American-Ukrainian anarchist journal that published five issues between late 1921 and 1922. This particular issue is held at the University of Michigan.

Amongst the article, there is a ukrainien translation of the text entitled « Anarchism Communism » by David Edelstadt. Edelstadt was a Jewish-Russian anarchist and poet. He immigrated to America in 1882 and was a member of the first Jewish anarchist group in New York, the Pioneers of Liberty. He wrote prolifically in Yiddish and became chief editor of the influential Yiddish-language newspaper Fraye Arbeter Shtime (Free Worker’s Voice). Edelstadt died of tuberculosis at the very young age of 26 in 1892.
